An underrepresented group is a group that is less represented in a particular context (e.g., creatives in a particular sector, such as digital art) than in the general population. Underrepresented creatives are creatives who face barriers to opportunities due to gender, race/ethnicity, physical or mental ability, sensory impairment, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ identity, and many more.
